Bandung, Indonesia persis.or.id – The upcoming International Conference of Persatuan Islam Students (ICSPersis) has generated significant buzz on social media. Scheduled for October 12, 2024, at the iconic Gedung Merdeka in Bandung’s Asia Africa Complex, the conference marks a significant milestone for Persatuan Islam’s youth.
A collaborative effort between Hima Persis (Persatuan Islam Male College Student Association), Himi Persis (Persatuan Islam Female College Student Association), IPP and IPPI (Persatuan Islam Male and Female Student Associations), the conference aims to unite students and young scholars from across Indonesia and the globe.
Conference organizer, Fakhrizal Lukman, emphasized the strategic importance of this event. “The conference seeks to address pressing global issues such as climate change, world peace, and artificial intelligence,” he stated. “By bringing together students from diverse backgrounds, we aim to foster a collective movement capable of driving positive change.”
All participants, including representatives from Muallimin (High School) student of Islamic boarding schools, various leadership levels, and international students, are required to submit academic papers. “This is an admirable effort that deserves our full support,” said Dr. Pepen. “It represents a historic moment for Persatuan Islam’s young generation, who are demonstrating their commitment to addressing global challenges. By fostering collaboration and generating innovative ideas, this conference will contribute significantly to Persatuan Islam’s transformative journey in the 21st century.”
